About the Function:
Sales Operations being a part of an aggressively growing Company and a Sales Organization, plays a pivotal role in Onboarding, Enabling and Driving superior performance among the Sales & Marketing Organization. With the average tenure of the team < 1 year, Sales Operations Function has a bigger and more ambitious role to play in enabling the Growth Operations for the organization with responsibilities encompassing Sales Enablement, Business Partnership, Process Excellence, Tools & Data, Variable Compensation and Sales Support Operations.
About the Role:
As a Sales Ops manager, you will have the unique opportunity to manage and work out multiple programs and be a Project manager for the Sales and Marketing teams. Evaluation of tools, it's implementation, vendor management, etc. will be a part of your role.
What You will Do:
Program Management :
- Act as a Project Manager in ensuring GTM related projects are on track towards the planned outcome
- Work cross functionally to drive relevant focus at each stage of the project
- Drive proactive / preemptive communication from time to time to provide right levels of cross functional visibility on the progress
- Manage stakeholders to ensure participation and remove impediments from time to time
Subscription Management :
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing Organization in helping manage Tools Subscription within the Org
- Periodic assessment and evaluation of tools in place, utilization and outcome
- Ensure proactive engagement on renewals of the tools and subscriptions
- Coordinate with Business stakeholders when new requirements arise, in understanding, validating and qualifying the requirements
- Engage with vendors to identify relevant tools in the market that caters to the requirements, negotiate commercials and enable decision making
- Align with internal functions like Finance, Legal, Security Operations etc while managing through procurement, renewal and vendor payments
What are we looking for?
Must Have:
- Graduate / Post Graduate with 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, preferably in a SaaS based product company
- Prior expertise in project managements roles in Sales and Marketing Functions interfacing with Senior Leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Data driven approach with the ability to draw insights and trends
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office and Google Applications
Good to Have:
- Self starter, Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Operate independently with limited supervision, Results Oriented, with ability to drive cross functional collaboration
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
