What You'll Do
Partner with both marketing and sales to identify and implement innovative analytic frameworks and solutions to facilitate strategic business decisions, identify new market opportunities and uncover areas of improvement. You're the ideal candidate if you are a sales and marketing operations professional who wants to make an immediate and lasting impact on an organization and have the drive to own a variety of initiatives. Not only are you highly proficient in Excel, Salesforce and/or Google analytics, but you have impeccable organization and communication skills, a passion for accuracy and detail and enjoy working on cross-functional projects.
We're looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to help support the regional sales teams by optimizing critical business processes, productivity tools and ensuring consistency as we scale our sales organization. The candidate must be extremely well organized, analytical, detailed-oriented and quality-minded. You bring your sales operations knowledge to help drive innovative solutions and optimize field effectiveness. In particular be an expert in Deal Desk processes and be able to provide overall sales operations support across all our processes and systems. - Provide data-driven insights and operational recommendations to senior sales and marketing leadership
- Generate and present to sales leadership weekly forecast and pipeline analytics
- Conduct complex analytics across various aspects of our sales and marketing strategy and execution, including; market segmentation, win-loss statistics, customer acquisition lifecycle, conversion rates, translating findings into operational recommendations
- Support the field sales team on quote processes, pricing, configuration, and terms
- Create compelling reports, dashboards, and leaderboards, using best of breed tools, creating visibility and transparency. Drive accountability to key performance indicators across all levels of the sales and marketing organization
- Partner with management, to identify process gaps, data quality issues, sales proficiency and adoption issues, etc.
- Act as primary contact on all Salesforce.com automation projects/trends and Google analytics
- Ensure quality of data in Salesforce
What’s Required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a business analysis, sales operations or similar role
Qualifications, Skills and Strengths
- Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and solid understanding of sales operations
- Managed Deal Desk functions and an expert with sales tools
- Strong analytical ability and able to prioritize multiple projects
- Salesforce certification
- Google analytics experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point, or Google docs, sheets etc.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- SaaS and B2B experience preferred
- Experience in modeling out sales forecasting to goal;
- Must be agile, responsive, organized, detail-oriented and operationally focused
