Chief Revenue Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our B-to-B media company, which is #1 in its category of coverage. The position focuses on growing revenues through strategic planning, product development and partnerships. Together with other members of the executive team, you will execute the current corporate strategic plan, focusing on expansion to new customer segments and revenue streams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales to drive business growth across all customer segments and profiles, and lead areas of advertising sales
• Develop sales goals and objectives including sales volume, cost of sales and profitability
• Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
• Grow revenues from all other channels, including subscriptions, video and social
• Identify and/or create new revenue streams
• Create paid partnerships with other media outlets who need our data and content
• Manage revenue pipeline across multiple channels in accordance with goals including Programmatic Ad Revenue (Exchange), Digital Display Revenue (Direct and PMP), Published Advertising, SAAS and Custom Data Products, Industry Events, Media/Publisher Paywall, Custom Video Content

Requirements:

• 7 years of proven work experience in senior level sales management, business development and marketing initiatives in a media company, publishing, or platform
• Proven track record of growing revenue and profitability in digital space through new product development, marketing and partnerships
• Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
• General management and P&L experience
• Deep knowledge of digital media, advertising, SAAS, events
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
