The Sales Operations Coordinator in collaboration with other functional groups such as sales, project management, product management, customer service and procurement and is responsible for order receipt, processing and entry, managing order fulfillment through shipping via various functional groups within NCS; act as the customer advocate to internal NCS functional groups. The SOC reports to the Sales Operations Manager within CES.
Position Responsibilities:
Interface with our existing customer base and the NCS Sales staff to provide sales support in the following areas:
- Serve as a customer advocate
- Receive, review for accuracy and enter orders into ERP system per established ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with NCS Purchasing and Planning groups to track and ensure timely acquisition of material and delivery of orders
- Work with NCS Sales and Product Management to manage, review, and update existing customer contracts/price lists
- Be knowledgeable and conversant of the full NCS product offering and be able to answer questions from customers as necessary
- Assist Sales to prepare price quotes in response to inquiries from customers, when called upon
- Coordinate and engage with other groups within the company including Operations, Project Management, Product Management, and Sales to provide customers with pre- and post-sales support and address any ad-hoc requirements or issues that arise
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Capable and willing to learn about computer technologies
- Self-starting, highly-motivated, and disciplined as this will be a remote/work-from-home position for the initial period after hire
- Excellent organizational skills * Task oriented and able to prioritize to meet customer deadlines
- Experience in managing and growing relationship with customers
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency or experience with SAP or similar ERP programs is desired but not required
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- BA/BS is preferred but not required.
