CFO OPPORTUNITY - Development and Real Estate Industry (Bilingual: English & French)
Location: Gatineau
Compensation Package: $200,000 - $250,000 + bonus + profit sharing options + 4 weeks’ vacation + benefits package + onsite parking
Team: 10 direct reports (Reporting directly to the President)
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy Aligned with Growth
- Develop a financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Provide strategic analysis and visionary leadership to exceed performance targets.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure long-term viability.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and current provincial and federal regulations.
- Coordinate audit functions, governance policies, and internal controls.
- Monitor business risks, financial commitments, and exposures, while implementing risk management strategies.
Operational and Financial Leadership
- Provide strategic financial leadership to senior management, external partners, and investors.
- Identify and secure funding sources.
- Analyze business performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth.
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and profit and loss statements.
- Lead the implementation of scalable financial systems, when needed.
- Manage cash flow in support of strategic decisions.
Organizational Leadership and Impact
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, including recruitment, training, and talent engagement.
- Optimize internal processes and strengthen financial information production frameworks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree (MBA) in finance, strategy, or management is highly preferred for this senior-level position (an asset).
- Over 10 years of experience in financial forecasting, risk management, and financing strategies.
- CPA designation (required).

- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Strong expertise in accounting and financial structuring.
- Full professional fluency in French and English.
