Job Description
BizOps at Sense is a cross-functional team that sits at the intersection of data, operations and strategy. As a centralized team we support all teams at Sense. Our partners and stakeholders rely on us for a data-driven perspective and a consultative partnership. As a Sr. Analyst and member of the team, you will deliver insights that drive decision-making, execution and investments for key initiatives. In this operations-focused role, success requires analytical savvy, problem-solving sophistication and a dedication to making the highest impact.
In this role, you will help drive critical sales and revenue processes that help improve Sense’s business performance, design & build go-to-market reporting, dashboards, and KPIs, assist with deal structuring and execution, and govern key operational tasks to manage the business.
You will play an important role in contributing to our strategic initiatives, both at the global and regional levels, and ultimately help scale our business in an effective way. You are a genuine and proactive team player and approach business problems in a structured, data-driven manner.
Responsibilities:

Drive a smooth investment allocation planning process through a deeper understanding of our Go-to-Market team and portfolio, ensuring the right tools and data to create leverage for our Sales and Marketing organization

Partner with our marketing and sales leaders to deeply understand the customer journey funnel and its respective dynamics, understand the impact of key initiatives, and forecast business outcomes

Explore, evaluate and support new investment opportunities and strategic initiatives

Partner with team leaders on strategic headcount planning, which can include tracking and presenting team ratios, hiring velocity, internal transfers, and more

Build and update forecasting models, in coordination with Corporate Finance & Recruiting, around hiring and attrition.

Work with team leaders to maintain hiring priorities, approve internal headcount changes and manage the backfill approval process.

Build dashboards (including writing queries, if possible) to track and report on quarterly GTM key performance indicators (KPIs) & measures.

Identify net-new valuable work and spearhead initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

Communicate solutions confidently and effectively across Sense

Build a consultative relationship across the organization, and meet with strategic partners that align with our highest priorities.

Partner closely with various levels of leadership globally to execute actionable, measurable projects that accelerate sales growth (new & existing business) and improve our existing sales processes & operations

Produce actionable reports and analysis related to daily, weekly, and monthly activities, as well as ad hoc initiatives.

Drive efficiency by automating and implementing processes, tools, and dashboards that help Sense teams scale wisely.

Support special projects where you structure business problems, evaluate different options, implement actionable recommendations, and track success.

Establish strong working relationships with other cross-functional partners (e.g. other members of our team, and other departments) to improve overall operations and how the company goes to market
Qualifications
-
5+ years experience in Sales or Business Operations; start-up & SaaS experience preferred

Advanced analytical skills, data modeling, business insight and conceptual problem-solving abilities

Experience with financial systems (e.g., Recurly, Stripe, Anaplan)

Ability to build clear and concise models and presentations

Excellent communication skills, including experience effectively working with senior management

Strong project management skills

Able to work with a high degree of autonomy, particularly within a global setting

Enjoy working with go-to-market teams focused on revenue growth and customer experience

Familiarity with sales systems/related tools (Salesforce.com), and reporting
-
Willing to work in a highly demanding and results-oriented team environment

Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets)
