YOUR JOB:
On its hyper-growth journey and in an effort to further improve operational efficiency, DataGuard values the crucial importance of a frictionless system and process architecture in its Go-to-Market engine. In order to support our aim of reaching a unicorn valuation in 2-3 years, we are now searching for a Revenue Operations Manager (Salesforce Lead) to take our systems and tool landscape to the next level. As part of the Revenue Operations team, this position provides an extensive opportunity to shape the future of DataGuard’s Go-to-Market model and organisation. This is the ideal position to apply your previously accumulated experience in building and streamlining CRM landscapes in an entrepreneurial, creative and revenue-centric manner.
LET’S PROTECT THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE DATA
We are a fast-growing tech company with a clear purpose: we protect the people behind the data. With over 200 Guards and Guardettes in four cities (Munich, Berlin, London and Vienna), we help more than 2,500 international customers to thrive with Privacy, Information Security and Compliance (PIC). To do that, we combine best-in-class expert support with our self-developed SaaS platform to offer an all-in-one solution for PIC.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- You will own the systems and reporting behind each stage of the customer journey from prospecting, to ‘close’ to renewal and expansion, removing inefficiencies to allow salespeople more time to sell.
- You understand Salesforce as a means to an end and intend to employ it to drive process adherence, operating efficiency and alignment across the go-to-market function. To achieve these goals, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You evaluate and prioritise complex requirements from senior stakeholders to keep the business focused on projects that are going to be most impactful towards hitting its key objectives.
- You are comfortable working autonomously and take the lead on creating our mid- & long-term Salesforce roadmap to ensure we adopt ‘best practice’ usage of the system.
- You champion the adoption of Salesforce. Identify gaps in system usage at every stage of the sales cycle and conduct training sessions.
- You own the relationship with Salesforce to ensure the business gets maximum value from its investment in the software.
- You create Salesforce reports, dashboards, and workflows, customising them to different formats to present data in the most insightful ways.
- You undertake data cleansing via available tools and proactively look for new and innovative ways to maintain the data and enrich it further.
- You evaluate new technologies and add-on applications and make recommendations to improve and optimise marketing and sales team performance.
WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:
- The freedom, trust, and tools you need to do what you love and make an impact in a purpose-driven company
- A competitive salary, flexible working hours tailored to your needs, and benefits catering to health, family, and sustainability
- A secure and future-proof job with a professional working atmosphere and the dynamics of a maturing scale-up
- The possibility to develop into a mentoring path to empower and push up-and-coming talent
- Possibility and budget to further develop existing or new skills
- Lots of responsibility and the possibility to actively shape and define the future of PIC (Privacy, InfoSec & Compliance)
THE QUALITIES YOU’LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD:
- Desire to work in a job with societal impact (“Protect the people behind the data”)
- A passion for Salesforce, with a Salesforce certification and a number of completed trailheads as part of your own, ongoing personal development.
- Educated to a degree level in either a business or information systems related qualification.
- At least 3 years relevant experience in a Sales Operations / Salesforce role, ideally within a SaaS business.
- Demonstrated experience in working with databases, data analysis and segmentation.
- An interest in sales and marketing technology, ideally with experiences working with sales and marketing automation platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, or Hubspot.
- A positive can-do, agile attitude necessary to thrive in a scale-up environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage projects, organise and prioritise.
- Excellent team player and with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, driven and the desire to help.
- Clear head & heart in the right place
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
