OutScout is working on behalf of EdTech company to fill two Account Executive positions based remotely within the United States.
About the company:
Our client has built an online marketplace with over 250+ learning providers. They focus on partnering with companies to provide learning and development opportunities for employees within that organization. More specifically, they have a huge range of resources with various books, courses, and other e-learning tools so that organizations can provide their employees a place to develop their personal and professional skills.
About the role:
Serving as the first hire within the US, this high-performing Account Executive will work to acquire new customers and drive new sales opportunities.
- First Month: onboarding, meet and get to know sales team, plan/prosper/nuture potential new customers, work with SDR team to build pipeline
- Three Months: Develop and maintain pipeline of prospects, gather strong familiarity with sales cycle
- Six Months: Develop and grow existing account relationships, scale sales operations, build a network within the US market, lead negotiation efforts
This role will be a great fit for someone with:
- B2B SaaS sales experience within the EdTech industry
- Strong familiarity with US market
- Experience within a startup/scaleup environment
- You have experience closing mid-market and enterprise deals

Note: Since this role is serving as the first hire within the US, this will be a contract position for the first year and then roll over into a full-time position. This is largely in part because they are in the process of getting their benefits system and employee regulation requirements set up. During this contract period, you will have guidance on how to file taxes and you will receive stipends in the form of cash to cover health insurance benefits.
Compensation: 100-150k base + uncapped commission (200k-250k OTE)
