This role is responsible for leading Celerity’s business development team whose main responsibility is to solve business problems for our clients through selling business advisory and technology services delivered by our people.
- Partner with senior leadership to execute upon the annual growth plan through consultative selling in new and existing accounts
- Expand client growth through multiple sales channels including Randstad, our parent company
- Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of Celerity’s verticals to meet the annual growth plan
- Manage the business development team to drive growth across all verticals, and share responsibility with Marketing for lead generation and client experience
- Help maximize reach by working with leadership team to add new, scalable partners in a strategic way
- Build and foster team that is committed to a culture of go-get, action and urgency
- Monitor the sales pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
Here’s What You’ll Do In This Role
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive strategies and tactics
- Remain well-connected with clients to ensure that Celerity is delivering value and building a partnership, including reliance on us
- Collaborate with Finance, Client Services, and Marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, differentiation, and growth models for achieving Celerity’s revenue goals
- Identify and resolve sales issues and client challenges across the Marketing, Business Development, and Client Services teams
- Develop and implement robust sales processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
- Participate in client and contract negotiations
- Prospect and close relationships with key target clients
- Promote good sales and client data hygiene within Salesforce
- Create accountability within Celerity by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics
- Oversee Channel and Partner Development -- adding new sales channels and 3rd party resellers and partners
Your Qualifications
- Minimum ten or more years in sales leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth preferably in consulting industry
- Proven track record of growing revenue through services selling marketing, branding, and partnerships
- Minimum ten years’ experience in general management and P&L supervision
- Ability to craft and execute a sales strategy effectively
- Experience in making decisions based on business metrics
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
- College degree
