About The Job
The Chief Revenue Officer (“CRO”) is a key member of the executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, he/she is responsible for building and directing the company’s sales and marketing teams to meet and exceed sales, company growth and profitability, and all budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, individual and team selling, leveraging technology, and improving processes. The role is also responsible for client acquisition, management, and retention.
The CRO must have strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view. He/She will lead our team of high-performing executive sales consultants to be efficient, productive, and effective; he/she will also lead the marketing, pre-sales, and customer success teams to delight customers across the sales funnel. The CRO must provide overall direction and guidance to the activities of his/her team(s) to lead and manage all sales and strategy functions, including business development, pre-sales fulfillment, all account executives, as well as customer success and enablement. This includes building and managing a growing team of sales consultants, implementing short- and long-term programs and processes to optimize workflow, reviewing, proposing and implementing plans to control budget, labor efficiency, and client service efficiency.
The CRO position is one that requires a combination of skills, experience and education. A successful CRO will have superior leadership skills, work well with a team and have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. A successful CRO will also have exposure and experience in cybersecurity and/or information security space, as well as successfully working as a Microsoft partner. The CRO must have decision-making skills, problem-solving skills and conflict-management abilities. He/she must have a thorough knowledge of the company, its products and the markets it serves, and its culture. He/she must also be able to work with all levels of management and have superior training and delegation abilities.

- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
Job Responsibilities
I. Revenue/ Business Development
- Responsible for new client identification and acquisition; ensure that the Company consistently meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly revenue quotas; achieve (personal) revenue quotas and goals as assigned by the Company.
- Implement programs that ensure the attainment of the Company’s plan for growth and profit; develop and create strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain key client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and to generate new business through referrals.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting; consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives.
- Build marketing, fulfillment, and success programs that delight the customer.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support Executive Management in all aspects of growth specifically through strategic and operational planning and guidance and by ensuring that required infrastructure and support services are in place.
II. Executive Leadership
- Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
- Review performance against operating plans and standards. Provide reports on interpretation of results. Make recommendations for changes in direction of plans.
- Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves Company targets for growth and profitability.
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Develop cost estimates and manpower and facilities requirements forecasts.
- Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
- Participate in annual employee performance reviews; recommend employee actions and communicate with employees on the progress of plans.
- Define and coordinate internal and external training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company objectives.
- Support the selection process and maintain qualified personnel; research and make recommendations regarding compensation.
III. Other Responsibilities
- Present matters requiring decisions and reports on performance as requested.
- Work closely with and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization and across all corporate functions (Finance, Operations, HR, etc.).
- Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees.
