This position is ideally based in the Bay Area (Sunnyvale or San Francisco), or New York, NY, or remote in the US, and will be determined based on where the chosen candidate for the role resides.

Our Sales Operations organization is responsible for building the ultimate go-to-market engine to connect our solutions with customer needs at scale.
As a Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Associate, you will be the point person for high impact planning and operations deliverables on a global scale, driving revenue growth and improving sales productivity and customer value. To be successful in this role, you need to be comfortable presenting to senior executives across both sales and cross functional teams, highly analytical and creative in turning often ambiguous situations into actionable recommendations that help move our business forward.
The candidate should be comfortable handling highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information and have a strong strategic and technical mindset to help drive critical business decisions. They should be open to challenging the status quo and be comfortable working in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and their business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide recommendations on a variety of decision-making projects that will help land LinkedIn’s go-to-market model
- Lead planning and reporting workstreams by taking ownership of all modelling and dashboarding activities
- Act like an owner in driving strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations (e.g., customer segmentation, headcount, financial and territory planning, quota setting)
- Monitor business performance to provide Insights driven recommendations to your business partners on topics that can influence action within the organization
- Lead operational processes within the Sales organization, such as quota management, territory allocation, audits, report, and dashboard development
- Build cross-functional consensus for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams
- Collaborate closely with the sales, business analytics, product and other cross functional teams to provide analysis, reporting and tool-building capabilities that inform our key stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in management sales operations, business operations, consulting, finance, or an analytical/operational role
- 2+ years working regularly with Excel including expertise in building financial models
- Previous experience in a role requiring consultative stakeholder engagement
- Previous experience in a role requiring research, data interrogation, analysis and visualization
- 2+ years experience with SQL and/or a similar data querying language
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making
- Ability to not only perform complex data driven tasks, but also understand business drivers behind it
- Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives
- Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience in creative problem solving and innovation.
- Ability to effectively solve complex problems from high priority strategic initiatives

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
