About the role:
Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) is seeking a Senior IT Manager as a key leader for our Cardiology division, reporting to the Director of Cardiology IT. This is an amazing opportunity for the right leader, combining strategic thinking and team spirit with organized execution. Leading by example, you will support and mentor employee development across the department. You will coordinate with other Managers, helping lead the department to deliver the digital needs of our Cardiology business, which contributes significantly to the growth and profitability of Boston Scientific.
Your responsibilities include:
- Partner with Sales Operations stakeholders in sales commissioning, pricing and data/analytics through digital solutions
- Provide strategic advice to Sales Operations leaders on digital opportunities and ensuring leverage to core enterprise platforms
- Assisting with contract process and implementing new software
- Talent and resource management within Sales Operations IT includes recruiting and onboarding of new talent
- Reinforce the importance of quality and ensure appropriate compliance of solutions
- Serve as the leader of a team of IT analyst and engineers
- Collaborates and partners in a highly matrixed environment to deliver solution to support Sales Operations
- Manage numerous digital projects and programs, leading them from commencement to implementation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business opportunities, needs and issues where the IT organization can make an impact and advance innovative solutions
- Oversee the health and technical longevity of architecture and applications used within Sales Operations
What we’re looking for:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related area required
- 10+ years of related professional experience in Information Technology including
- 6+ years in a managerial position
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with matrixed leadership teams, including Sales Operations and IT to implement technology solutions that enhance the consumer value associated with products and improve the efficiency of our product development processes
- Strong knowledge of Product Team execution and Agile Development practices
- Pricing, Contracting. Sales Reporting experience
- Experience delivering innovative solutions leveraging technology and information
- Senior leadership presence, comfortable presenting and collaborating with Senior Leaders as a Business Advisor
- Experience working in a Global Organization supporting diverse teams
- Ability to successfully manage and execute multiple, large scale projects using program and project management best practices
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to synthesize data for crisp understanding
- Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organization teams

- Experience in delivering digital solutions for the health care industry
