About the Role:
BigPanda is seeking a Director of Sales Operations and GTM Planning to join a high-impact and high-performing Revenue Operations team. The Director/Sr. Director will lead all aspects of Sales Operations, partnering with the GTM teams to evangelize our GTM strategy, analyze and forecast key metrics across the business, implement scalable processes to remove friction from the selling process, develop and maintain key models to support the annual planning process, drive sales tech stack adoption and insure compliance with internal and external policies.
This role can be remote, and will report directly to the VP, Revenue Operations.
What you will do:
- Partner with Sales leadership and the broader GTM ecosystem to evangelize any new processes, drive analytics and adoption across tech stack
- Lead all aspects of the forecasting process and provide leadership with updates, trends, changes and risks to the business while ensuring 100% participation in the forecasting process.
- Drive analysis, frame business problems, and communicate insights with a bias for action
- Build high performing team of Sales Operations professionals to operate as local business partners to sales leaders and their respective teams
- Manage periodic sales team review process to identify risks with existing team members while providing data driven insights into individual and team performance that drive action to improve performance
- Driving local initiatives through the selling motion, partnering with Marketing, Inside Sales team. Working closely with the Sales leaders and marketing to maintain alignment and achievement of collective goals
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects; including structuring business problems, exploring solutions, implementing/refining processes, and measuring impact
- Partner with Rev Ops Systems team to design, adopt, maintain and improve the sales tech stack.
- Design and manage all aspects of the deals desk function across all levels of sales, legal, product and finance to efficiently close deals and maintain bookings compliance.
- Partner cross-functionally on key components of our annual planning process including modeling and target setting.
- Document new and existing processes to enable training of all levels of sales on best practices, tool optimization, data investigation and other related GTM processes
What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:
- 10+ years of experience in operations, finance, or other relevant fields
- Experience working with a hyper growth company with proven ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Ability to hire, train and mentor a team of high performing individuals
- Strong experience working on territory, forecasting, quota and compensation analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate the story within the details
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Own the selling process from a systems, tools, inputs and outputs perspective
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, familiarity with related Sales systems (Clari, Outreach, Chorus, Zoominfo etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of analytical tools ranging from Excel and GSheets to visualization platforms such as Tableau, CRMA, SiSense and others.
