Business Operations Analyst

This position is onsite in Costa Mesa, CA - No Remote Work - No Hybrid

What you will be doing:

Capture and document detailed app specifications including user interaction workflows, and edge cases, and functional requirements
Help drive and specify product, feature, and copy decisions with spec reviews and ongoing meetings with cross-functional teams
Translate process needs into configuration requests for case management and communications systems
Run workshops with attorneys, case managers, and support staff for new processes, gathering feedback, and securing buy-in
Dive deep into discovery by shadowing teams
Lead, design and roll out SOPs, coaching, quickly grasping and distilling highly complex matters into clean, understandable documentation

What you need to qualify:

5+ years' process or business analysis experience in operations, legal ops, insurance, healthcare, or any other highly regulated service environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills to document and create workflows and training aids
Mastery of flow-charting and SOP documentation tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Confluence, Gantt Charts, Google Docs)
Demonstrated strength in interviewing, workshop facilitation, and change-management
Ability to translate feedback into system configuration requests for a case-management platform
Ability to build data snapshots (Excel, Power Query, or dashboard exports) to prove efficiency gains
Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt or similar continuous-improvement credential a plus
Familiarity with BI dashboards (Looker, QuickSight, Tableau) for visualizing operational KPIs
