Position Summary:
The Chief Revenue Officer will lead my client's Go to Market Strategy as well as leading all business development functions including B2C and B2B. The CRO will be responsible for defining long and short-term growth strategies and tactics through product development, branding, and partnerships with the ultimate objectives of securing bookings that will create a geographic footprint for the core product offerings of the company. Working closely with senior leadership, the CRO will be responsible for understanding market gaps and will create effective positioning with target customers and ensuring the sales teams execute a solutions / consultative selling methodology while achieving our sales targets. The position will also work closely with the COO, CMO and CFO on forecasting, budgeting and overall sales budgets and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create a standardized outreach for current and future clients and coordinate its implementation across sales channels, client management, and marketing and communications
- Develop growth strategies in collaboration with the executive team and board of directors
- Oversee all Channel/Partner Development -- adding new sales channels and 3rd party resellers and partners
- Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics
- Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives that will enable and expand provider footprint in provider analytics, technology solutions and services, and engaging in various life sciences projects
- Executes sales strategies and best to achieve the new sales bookings targets of the organization
- Builds, develops and manages sales team / talent
- Provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning
- Drives demand generating activities at tradeshows, company events or customer workshops
- Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success
- Responsible for establishing and executing an advanced Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Remains aware and engaged with market trends and status through market intelligence and competitor analyses
- Works closely with Operations and Company Senior Leadership to define and support effective sales process leveraging sales force CRM or such tools that can accurately track and report pipeline
- Ensure sales budgets are properly defined, forecasting is accurate, and sales targets are achieved
- Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communication or any other related field.
- 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth in the specialty provider market
- Proven track record of growing revenue through executing business strategies surrounding new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships
- Ability to overcome objections and close sales quickly
- Strong customer focus

- Proven record on building sales teams, managing sales process (cadence) and delivering quarterly results
- Demonstrable results in an independent, het highly collaborative work environment
- High Energy, with the ability to motivate a sales team, managed teams of high performing salespeople
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time and on short notice
