CAi Software is searching for a Sales Operations Analyst to join their tech savvy and innovative sales and marketing teams! CAi Software is a leading developer of software to the food and beverage, and manufacturing industries, and they are growing!
CAi Software is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Analyst to manage the functions essential to sales force productivity and process optimization. The Sales Operations Analyst will collect, organize and analyze sales data to provide essential insight, information and solutions to internal stakeholders to help increase revenue and forecast possible challenges. This position will work closely with the Chief Customer Officers of Food & Beverage and Manufacturing, Director of Marketing, and CFO.
This position is located in Portland, ME but a hybrid/remote option would be considered for candidates located within the Eastern Time Zone.
What you’ll do as the Sales Operations Analyst:
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
- Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and CRM data quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement in close collaboration with sales enablement.
- Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and areas where data is not being captured to effectively manage the sales/marketing process and facilitate a culture of continuous process improvement.
- Create and implement reporting and dashboards for the sales organization that focus on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Convert complex data into easily digestible presentations, graphs, or reports – use analysis and visualization to tell the story behind the numbers in an appropriate way for each audience.
- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales and marketing reporting, dashboarding and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommend revisions to existing reports and assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure proper lead management processes, metrics, and policies and measures lead conversion rates/speed.
- Manage all aspects of Dynamics CRM and HubSpot Marketing including workflow; reporting; maintaining data integrity/quality; user setup and training; creating/maintaining user best practice documentation; monitoring system adoption and governance; and ensure downstream systems receive the data they need from CRM and Marketing.
- Establish metrics and objectives for Sales Operations and make recommendations for increasing sales productivity.
What you bring to the role of Sales Operations Analyst:
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of strong analytical and problem-solving experience working in sales operations, business analyst role, process improvement, and/or program/project management, preferably at a B2B SaaS company.
- Direct experience in a B2B organization’s Sales Operations team.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Dynamics CRM, HubSpot, and/or similar tools.
- Experience implementing and managing reports and dashboards.
- Ability to create and track metrics relevant to sales and marketing.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate.
- Strong analytical ability, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and break down complex problems in a simplified way.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally for the greater good of the company.
