Job Summary
The Senior Deal Desk Analyst role / Lead is responsible for providing support to sales organization on deal approvals by working with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other cross functional teams on complex deal structuring and commercial terms. This senior individual contributor role will be the business liaison between sales team and internal stakeholders, accomplished by partnering with your sales teams to identify Customers’ critical business issues and assist in structuring deal that meet both Adobe's requirements and the Customer’s needs.
Responsibilities
Be a trusted partner to the sales team on deal structuring and quoting, complex deals options and ensuring consistent application of policies.
Take on addition approval authority covering for Deal desk manager or approving on behalf of Deal Desk Manager
Indirectly lead a team to ensure the team’s key priorities and objectives are met while providing constructive feedback
Have a leadership attitude and inspire people to work according to Adobe Values and Capabilities
Perform to a specified set of metrics and service levels.
Acts as the key contact point for deal approvals and escalations to internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Business Unit, Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success Manager.
Utilize SFDC CPQ, ensuring Quotes and Contracts are approved within internal policies and procedures.
Provide in-quarter deal status and communication to sale finance and sales management.
Evaluate current processes and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
Ad-hoc responsibilities on special projects and analysis as needed
What you need to succeed
You thrive in a team environment, are self-motivated, and are extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Finance, Sales Operations or Revenue role in an Enterprise Software/SaaS industry
Have Indirect Supervisory Experience & Strong Influencing Skills
Demonstrated success partnering with internal business units and cross functional teams
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues; ability to think quickly
Strong analytical, commercial acumen, project management and organizational skills
Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines independently where adaptability is imperative
Good understanding of revenue recognition rules
Proficient in Salesforce.com, CPQ/quoting tool, Microsoft office applications
