Company & Mission:
Located in Durango, CO, AGILE Space Industries designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft. AGILE uses state of the art 3D metal alloy printing techniques to rapidly design, manufacture, and test new engine designs in our purpose-built propulsion test facility. With over a decade of experience testing rocket engines, and engineers who have worked at industry leaders like SpaceX, NASA, and Rocketdyne, AGILE is a rapidly growing company with many exciting Defense, Civil and Commercial programs.
Description of the Position
AGILE is seeking a results-oriented, talented, and driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our team. The CRO is responsible for creating a sustainable pipeline of strategically relevant new business. To be successful, the CRO will understand, predict, and align the direction and needs of customers and the wider market with the capabilities and offerings of AGILE. This role will best be fit by a natural collaborator, both externally with customers and industry stakeholders, as well as internally with the business development team (that the CRO will directly oversee) and various operational teams. Preferred candidates will understand both the competitive tension and positive feedback loop that exists between operations and sales. This understanding will be reflected in a collaborative approach to aggressively growing revenue hand-in-hand with operations. Fundamentally, revenue cannot be generated without orders but orders cannot be grown in the long-term without execution success.
Together with the Executive Team, the CRO will develop a business development strategy before taking ownership and executing. The CRO will lead the AGILE business development team to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, foster collaborations and partnerships, and oversee robust pipeline projection and reporting processes. Although a space propulsion background would be an advantage, what is essential is strong experience and networking abilities in the wider space industry. This person will have a technical engineering background in addition to business development experience to drive growth through product development and sales of new products.
