JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing organization to drive operational excellence in order to achieve strategic and sales objectives. This role will play a critical part in partnering with the sales and marketing organization to maximize the impact of sales tools (SFDC) and business metrics/analytics. The focus for this role is to drive better decision making through sales process efficiency enhancement, opportunity/funnel and key business objective/metrics reporting. Additionally, this role will perform other sales and compensation analytics and support activities. The includes the data mining, quantifying, evaluating and transforming internal and external information into business intelligence to further drive the achievement of strategic and sales objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with sales and marketing to gather reporting requirements and build new capabilities. Includes performing data validation and end user testing of dashboards to ensure data accuracy and usability and self servce dashboarding capabilities as required.
Provide monthly end user reporting and track performance to targets to sales and marketing stakeholders.
Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure the best practices and processes are applied to the platform strategies through SFDC.
Support Platform leaders in managing opportunity pipeline and planning requirements
Performs other Salesforce.com related duties and assignments as required; including case management.
Support compensation related activities associated with payout calculations, bonus plan design and modelling, and target setting
Participate, lead and/or manage other Sales Operations projects as required.
Provide training and onboarding to new sales and marketing associates as required.
Perform other ad hoc sales analytics as required.
QUALIFICATION
ABILITIES:
Strong business acumen coupled with a high level analytical capability
Excellent communications skills both orally and verbally
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Process oriented, proactive and customer focused.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
University Degree (business or finance preferred)
Minimum 5 years work experience with at least 2 years focused on sales analytics or sales compensation
Proficient in Microsoft office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities required)
Salesforce.com, Xactly, Qlikview, BI/BW and Access experience is an asset
