In this role, the Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the communication, implementation, troubleshooting and management of all sales operation’s projects, tasks, and performance metrics. This individual will be responsible for connecting the Sales Team with the Operations Team to ensure efficient cross functional communication and task resolution. Additionally, the Sales Operations Manager is responsible for collaborating and executing various cross functional business initiatives.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage new system implementations and serve as the liaison between sales, operations and IT
- Manage open orders process across all wholesale channels
- Manage return and cancellation thresholds according to pre-determined benchmarks
- Manage and communicate departmental project dashboard, inclusive of short-and-long term projects
- Create, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to ensure delivery service excellence
- Analyze sales and returns to determine trends and opportunities; communicate findings and make recommendations for improvement
- Partner with sales management to implement and deliver customer centric programs and service levels
- Troubleshoot systemic challenges across multiple technology systems (i.e., Elastic, SAP, S4C CRM)
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of sales operations policies and procedures
- Develop and execute plans to ensure that there is an efficient process to review and react to orders in SAP
- Devise and implement industry leading standards of excellence in after sales, customer service and training
- Drive revenue through identification of new products, programs, offerings and enable fulfillment solutions to support
- Accountable for contributing towards achieving fiscal budgets and profitability by driving the team to make sound decisions and act decisively
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficient in ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Proficient in CRM software
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Operations, Order Management or similar experience required
- Minimum 4 years of Supervisory or Management experience required
- Project Management experience preferred
- Customer Service experience / background preferred
- Golf industry experience preferred
