Job Overview
Primary job will be to develop and recommend retail new vehicle sales market support programs in collaboration with the Controlling department and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services program support and retention departments, by performing market and product analyses. Prepare and execute any and all ad hoc reports requested by Executive Management with regards to inventory, production and retail sales and wholesale analyses that will be used to make strategic company decisions. Use JD Power Pin+ analysis to develop and implement strategic and targeted measures to help promote and encourage retail sales activity. Daily monitoring of sales opportunity areas based on inventory levels, day’s supply and current target objective tracking.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Department Manager and the Supervisor in analyzing, development and implementation of market-driven market support plans, strategies and tactics, consistent with the goals and objectives of MBUSA.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school with an emphasis in business finance/accounting, economics, data analytics, computer science or equivalent degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with knowledge of market research sources, data analysis techniques and methodology from various research tools.
- Knowledge of fundamental business practices and risk management.
- Knowledge of retail process and procedures and the ability to assess business impact based on key data indicators.
Additional Information
- Advanced Level of PC proficiency with concentration on Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations.
- Strong communication skills required as job will require interacting with Executive level management.
- Strong analytical skills in review of market performance data and recommendations resulting from the analytics.
- Organizational and administrative skills a must.
- Ability to work with and prioritize simultaneous projects under pressure, while meeting deadline requirements.
