The sales team here at Totalmobile went through a major transformation in 2022. We had grown rapidly over the past 3 years as revenue increased by 450% through a combination of organic growth and a flurry of seven strategic acquisitions. This established us as the number 1 software vendor in the UK for workforce management solutions.
We were ready to go one step further by doubling revenue to £100m and becoming a unicorn by the end of 2024. The final piece of the puzzle that will be vital in our journey to £100m was a world-class sales execution.
At the start of 2022, we hired a new CRO and Head of Sales who were tasked with overseeing sales transformation at Totalmobile. Over the course of the year, they restructured the sales team, brought a focus to customer engagement and excellence, adopted the MEDDIC methodology, and created an environment where high-performing, talented salespeople will grow and accelerate their careers.
The results spoke for themselves as our pipeline has never been stronger going into the new year.
The Role
We now need a Head of Sales Operations to join this world-class sales team and work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to support the Go To Market function and be a key member of the Sales Leadership team. You will be proactive and take ownership of the sales metrics, reporting, and dashboards to enable our CRO to make data-driven decisions based on sales performance improvement insights.
We have a range of products we go to market with so your analytical background will help steer the sales function including forecasting, market coverage, etc while being a key contributor to sales territory planning and quota setting process. It is important that you manage the forecasting process from reporting to direct sales engagement and identify opportunities to drive the improvement of processes that enable the sales team to become more efficient.
Skills and Experience
You will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will need a good understanding of sales processes. A strong background using Salesforce-CRM is required with in-depth experience and knowledge of best practices, along with proficiency in reporting and dashboards. You’ll have the ability to think creatively to come up with workable solutions. You will have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. A working knowledge of SQL and Power BI would be advantageous. Previous experience as a seller or sales manager and or international business exposure is desirable.
