Head of RevOps (f/m/d)
As our Head of RevOps, your mission is to establish, run, and continuously improve xChange’s RevOps department and its strategy, to grow the impact of generated revenues across our customer-facing organizations (Go-to-Market and Customer Success). At xChange, we have established a well-oiled marketing, sales, and customer success machine but need to professionalize and centralize the revenue operations department across the different departments to form a more holistic view of key business performance metrics as well as the entire customer journey
Requirements
Your responsibilities in a nutshell
- You will be leading our revenue operations teams through a period of rapid growth and operational challenges, reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer but working across departments.
- Partner closely with senior commercial leadership to achieve growth objectives and collaborate cross-functionally to drive strong relationships and alignment with Sales in go-to-market strategy across acquisition, utilization, and retention.
- Gain alignment on operational strategies with executive management; manage the cadence of operational reporting and interface with senior leadership in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Demonstrate effective cross-functional leadership collaboration and customer-oriented service principles with key business stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Business Development and Business Applications.
- Ensure visibility into critical business performance with regular, detailed operational reports and readouts; oversee multiple managers leading teams of analysts who investigate performance, understand input factors, and recommend improvements to optimize for crucial business outputs.
- Drive accountability within the function to identify execution risks and implement controls to detect, mitigate, and/or prevent failure.
- Drive operating leverage by setting ambitious goals and managing RevOps team to the very highest performance standards.
- Develop scalability throughout our revenue-driving business units with a combination of process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement methods.
- Provide strategic oversight to the design and implementation of business processes that build business capabilities and drive growth while ensuring effective collaboration and minimizing role or responsibility confusion.
- Drive consistency in approach to both work and deliverables, and drive agreement to this consistency among the executive team that RevOps serves.
- Strategically prioritize what the business function will deliver, and gain executive agreement for the same.
- Drive agreement with executive leadership to revamp xChange's Salesforce instance and Totango CRM to better serve the company we are today
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5+ years of leadership experience in Sales/ Rev Operations at a high-growth technology company and/or meaningful experience in consulting or finance.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high-quality communications.
- A proven ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of people, and influence without direct authority.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and maintain forecasts and consumption models with complex, dynamic inputs.
- A strong orientation towards outcomes.
- You are a great communicator (our company language is English) and listener – you are passionate about the xChange mission and inspire and motivate the people around you.
