As we scale, we're seeking a visionary, Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead and accelerate our global sales strategy.
Position Overview.
As the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the company’s global sales strategy. You will lead and inspire a high-performing sales organization, focusing on revenue growth, customer acquisition, account expansion, and customer retention. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to align the sales strategy with overall business goals.
This is a key executive role requiring deep SaaS sales expertise, strategic vision, operational excellence, and a proven ability to scale B2B sales organizations in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and execute the overall global sales strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion.
* Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic partnerships.
* Establish scalable sales models, playbooks, and territories to optimize growth.
Sales Management:
* Lead, mentor, and scale a global sales team including direct sales, inside sales, SDRs, and enterprise account executives.
* Set clear KPIs, quotas, and performance metrics for the sales team.
* Implement and oversee effective sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Revenue Generation:
* Drive customer acquisition and retention in the SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
* Optimize the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, deal closing, onboarding, and upselling.
* Maximize recurring revenue and reduce churn through close collaboration with Customer Success.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment:
* Work closely with the CEO, CMO, CPO, and CFO to align product, marketing, and financial strategies with sales initiatives.
* Provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps.
Market Intelligence & Innovation:
* Stay current on SaaS and CRM market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
* Innovate new go-to-market approaches and adapt to changing customer needs and buying behaviors.

* Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Growth
* Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) & Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV)
* Sales Quota Attainment (by team and individual)
* Customer Retention & Churn Rate

* Sales Team Productivity
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a SaaS environment.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and scaling B2B SaaS sales teams.
Skills & Competencies:
* Deep understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and CRM technology.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
* Inspirational leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Hands-on and data-driven decision-maker.
* Experience with sales tech stack (CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, etc.).
