We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Global Deal Desk. This position will play a lead role in enabling large, strategic opportunities and provide critical support to the Strategic Global Sales organization. Lead contract negotiations, revenue recognition, closing, executive presentations, financial modeling. Influence sales teams and key stakeholders on innovative sales methodologies.
- Closely collaborate with partner with sales and other key stakeholders on best practice deal management and contract structuring
- Assist with non-standard deal requests and drive cross functional solutions
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in high stress situations
- Collaborate and strategize across a distributed team on deal structure to nurture deals through the sales cycle and approval process
- Advise and triage resources for formal proposal creation from thru execution from basic account/contact updates thru Complex Quote Management, Pricing and Custom Terms Approvals
- Advise, coach and train our sales team on our processes and policies to improve efficiency and scale
- Identify recurring issues to improve the overall quote to cash process and provide recommendations on process and system improvements.
- 3-5 years of solid experience as a financial analyst, sales operations specialist (deal desk specifically), and experience supporting a complex Sales organization
- A strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in SFDC, Zuora, Netsuite
- Experience with SFDC Lightning in navigation, report generation, and report building
- Experience creating and establishing KPIs, playbooks and processes to improve business visibility and consistency of best practices.
- Familiarity with the enterprise SaaS/B2B industry - deal desk, order management, finance operations, sales operations or pricing experience preferred
- Ability to partner with other cross-functional departments
- Experienced in direct and channel sales
- To be highly organized, self-starter, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
- Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during end of month, end or quarter
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage distractions
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Can form and maintain strong cross-functional business relationships
- Possess change management skills and experience with a rapidly changing business environment and ongoing operational improvements.
- Possess excellent skills in oral and written communication as well as documenting business justifications
- Possess strong analytical, accounting, and advanced Excel skills
