Chief Financial Officer Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will execute effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. This is a complex, critical role that actively investigates and safeguards Wise Staffing Group's finances. The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, accounting, broad investment, and banking operations. This role will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manage the agency's financial reporting, and lead the finance and accounting team.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions initiatives to support business growth and expansion.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and banking relationships.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements while maintaining adherence to SOX and COSO standards.
- Supervise the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in fiscal management, including expense management, cost control, and revenue cycle management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives to drive business development.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to support decision-making processes across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, risk management practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus; experience with non-profit accounting is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strong understanding of market analysis and business development strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and drive organizational change.
