The Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) is accountable for developing and directing the overall strategy of the S&OP process Globally. The role is a key leadership position to develop the global S&OP footprint. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team who can drive S&OP process by aligning on assumptions, modeling, demand and supply scenarios, orchestrating network planning activities, and structuring business cases.
Some Things You Will Do In The Role Include
- Accountable for the S&OP process and for the successful global rollout and implementation.
- Aligns resources, prioritizes strategies, establishes targets, and implements cost-out initiatives for S&OP efforts.
- Forms a strategic roadmap to improve S&OP maturity, enables process design, and adoption through technology and analytics.
- Accountable to define key metrics of S&OP and track benefits and improvements to the business.
- Manage the aggregation of the demand plan process across therapeutic areas, categories and geographies, producing a rolling 24-36 month estimate of unconstrained future demand in units
- Conduct rough cut capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics to facilitate decision making to assure alignment to strategic plan with key stakeholders including Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and the Production Units
- Partners with executive leaders and commercial leads to establish program and initiative implementation plans including key milestones and metrics. Communicates plans, schedules, and key metrics cross-functionally to ensure alignment across many functional areas.
Some Things You Will Bring To The Role Include
- Min of a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ yrs of Supply Chain experience
- 5+ 15+ years of management of diverse teams / projects required.
- highly analytical supply/demand planning environment; S&OP experience is preferred
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; SAC / SAP / Power BI experience is a strong preference
- Expertise in pharmaceutical or biotech industries, US, EU, and international cGMP and DCSCA requirements preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g. CPIM/CSCP) and Membership in Professional Associations (e.g. APICS, ISM) preferred
