Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a
Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is the key bridge between sales, marketing and implementation. Dedicated to assisting the sales team with lead management activities via phone, email, and occasional in-person tasks. This individual will assist with vital tasks such as gathering documentation, proposal creation and driving quality prospects to our sales team through daily calling efforts. We are looking for someone to join our amazing team and be able to enthusiastically share Makai HR's value!

We also provide competitive compensation packages which include 100% paid employee healthcare, paid time off as well as a flexible and collaborative work culture. Compensation for this role is a base salary ($45k-$50k) + sharing in the commission structure. Total on-target earnings for this role are $70k+.
Education And Experience You’ll Need To Succeed
- Must be based on Oahu. This is a hybrid role that accommodates working from home and also some in-person activities at our downtown Oahu office and at client-sites around Oahu.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn new skills, grow professionally, and take on new challenges
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail; deadline oriented
- Ability to ensure that every interaction is a positive, professional, and courteous experience
- Experience prospecting and contacting prospects via phone and email
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing business and numbers-driven work environment while managing multiple projects and responsibilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving department and role, and to take on new challenges as they become delegated to the position
- Strong time-management, organizational and relationship building skills; self-sufficient and creative problem solver
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
What Your Day To Day Might Look Like
- Manage daily task list from our CRM
- Call and email new clients to follow up on documentation requests
- Create proposals for new clients using templates and collected documents
- Work closely with management team to create sales strategies and campaigns
- Outbound calling to follow up on client and internal referrals
- Follow-up on nurture campaigns and generation of leads calling on target prospects from lists
- Call and email new and past prospects from various sources to set appointments for sales staff
- Effectively qualify leads as good fits for Makai HR by determine prospect’s needs
- Achieve established activity targets for completing tasks and outbound calls
- Collaborate with various other departments to deliver a successful product and service to our clients
- Complete all administrative tasks, including updating CRM system in a timely matter
- Most importantly, impact our clients and our business which is growing quickly!
