Our client (a multi-billion-dollar industrial organization) based in Memphis is looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Sales Operations. This newly created Senior Manager, Sales Operations role will be the engine behind shifting from a highly relationship-driven, decentralized model to a more standardized, data-enabled approach across multiple production sites. The mandate includes developing and enforcing consistent sales processes, optimizing order allocation and inventory visibility, integrating KPIs into decision-making, and ensuring seamless coordination across sales, planning, and operations. With a planned retirement at the Director level, this role is being positioned as a key succession opportunity for a commercially astute leader who can guide change while maintaining the team’s strong customer-centric culture.
Reporting to the VP Sales, the successful candidate will have visibility at the highest commercial and operational levels and the ability to influence how the organization engages the market going forward. We are targeting individuals with 7–10+ years of progressive sales experience in where execution excellence, cross-functional alignment, and systems fluency (ERP/CRM) are critical. Strong analytical skills, continuous improvement mindset, and credibility leading through others will be essential to driving meaningful adoption across the business. This is an exceptional role for someone ambitious, operationally strong, and eager to grow into a Director role.
The candidate must be based in Memphis or willing to relocate to Memphis.
