We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial leadership across a rapidly expanding investment platform operating across multiple sectors.

The CFO will play a pivotal role in financial structuring, M&A execution, capital planning, and investor readiness — embedding robust governance and scalable financial systems to support continued growth and future exit readiness.
You’ll partner directly with the CEO and Board to shape strategic direction, optimise financial performance, and deliver disciplined value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial modelling, structuring, and due diligence for acquisitions and investments.
- Manage group-wide financial planning, capital structure, and liquidity, ensuring transparency and control.
- Build and embed scalable finance systems, controls, and management information frameworks across portfolio companies.
- Oversee financial reporting, covenant management, and lender/investor relations.
- Partner with leadership to deliver actionable insight and drive EBITDA growth and transaction performance.
- Institutionalise best-in-class financial governance to support a buy-and-build investment strategy.
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, ideally trained within a top-tier accounting firm.
- 8–15 years’ post-qualification experience, including CFO, Group Financial Controller, or Head of Finance roles.
- Proven success in buy-and-build, private-equity-backed, or acquisitive SME environments.
- Advanced capability in financial modelling, M&A structuring, and integration planning.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset — comfortable combining board-level insight with operational execution.
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and adept at scaling businesses through periods of rapid change.
