The Opportunity
We’re seeking a strategic, experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. As CFO, you’ll lead the financial strategy and operations that power Compass’ continued growth. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team—balancing strategic vision with disciplined financial management to help scale a company with a vital mission.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee accounting, compliance, and cash flow management.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
- Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and investors.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including time in a CFO or senior finance role.
- Proven experience in technology, manufacturing, or government contracting sectors.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communicator and collaborative leader.
- Passion for supporting the mission of law enforcement and public safety.
