Responsibilities:
• New Business: Source prospective clients through various channels, such as networking events, relationship building and online resources
• Deal Management: Manage deals and negotiate contractual terms and conditions including price, payment terms and delivery.
• Sales Strategy Collaboration and Implementation: Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency. This includes streamlining workflows, standardizing procedures, and leveraging technology.
• Sales Performance Analysis: Analyzing sales data and metrics to evaluate the performance of the sales team. Providing insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and achieve targets.
• Market Analysis: Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamlining processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity within commercial operations.
• Sales Tools and Technology: Managing the selection, implementation, and optimization of sales tools and technologies(e.g., CRM systems) to support the sales team’s efforts.
• Sales Training and Development: Developing and overseeing training programsto ensure the salesteam has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
• Forecasting and Reporting: Creating accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing visibility into sales performance and pipeline status.
• Budget Management: Overseeing the sales operations budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support sales activities
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience.
• 13+ years of relevant experience in an outside salesrole, in a consultative, solution-based environment. Ideally has sold to MSP clients.
• Demonstrable track record of success selling in strategic and consultative environments.
• Understanding of Infrastructure Technology and Alternative Asset Market. • Excellent active listening skills and able to ask relevant questions in order to gather, document and communicate effectively with potential clients and internal project stakeholders
• Able to work on simultaneous projects(multitask) and completing tasksin a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Strong business, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent follow through skills and able to cold call when necessary.
