At Elevate Aviation Group (EAG), we are building a platform company that delivers our enterprise clients a premium experience in every segment of private aviation. We’re seeking a chief revenue officer (CRO) with broad aviation industry experience to join us in this mission. Our CRO will own an aggressive growth plan across our Charter, Aircraft Management, Aircraft Brokerage and MRO organizations. This is a key leadership role in an organization that is growing from a 20-year history of delivering premium client experiences. Our CRO should be the type of person who enjoys solving complex business problems with creativity and passion and is always seeking to learn something new. The CRO will be instrumental in executing a strategic plan for growing revenue, expanding client retention, maintaining profit margin, entering new markets, and growing via acquisitions. This remote based exempt position will report to the CEO.
Objectives of this role
- Lead and expand the sales teams across our business units to drive profitable growth across all client segments
- Partner with company CMO to expand lead generation programs that contribute to rapid scale
- Ensure performance and alignment of the company’s revenue-generating departments with the corporate strategy and target client base.
- Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding new channels and partnerships that expand our reach and ability to scale rapidly
- Partner with senior leadership to execute the corporate strategic plan and contribute to the development of the forward strategy
- Instill a performance-oriented culture that attracts and retains top talent
Responsibilities
- Build and coach sales teams that are committed to our culture of premium client service
- Own monthly and quarterly goals for sales activities and sales results
- Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
- Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, adjusting strategies and tactics as required to achieve goals
- Maintain personal relationships with key clients and prospects
- Represent EAG at industry and client events
- Collaborate with the finance, client experience, and marketing teams on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models for achieving revenue goals
- Identify and resolve issues across the marketing, sales, and account management teams
- Participate in contract negotiations as required
Required skills and qualifications
- Fifteen or more years in sales leadership roles in the aviation industry, driving and implementing revenue growth
- Demonstrated record of identifying and coaching talented people. History of mentoring staff at all levels of an organization
- Executive presence and presentation skills capable of successful communication at a C-Suite and Board of Directors level
- Successful operation in an entrepreneurial environment that requires a hands-on approach and an enthusiasm for a dynamic, quickly changing organization
- Proven track record of growing revenue through sales execution, and ability to design successful, measurable go-to-market sales and client service frameworks
- Experience with international expansion including market entry analysis, standing up new sales teams in selected markets, and evaluating local partnerships
- Significant experience in general management and P&L accountability
- Detailed knowledge of the private aviation industry, including regulations, safety, industry standards and an understanding of the capabilities of typical business aviation aircraft.

Preferred skills and qualifications
- Broad industry relationships, including connections across Europe and Asia
- Strong technical experience with SugarCRM and other business productivity tools
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or a related field
