The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Deal Desk Manager to lead our deal processing and contract renewal management. In this role, you will be responsible leading our Deal Desk and ensuring timely, accurate billing in a high-growth SaaS environment, using Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) as the primary platform and HubSpot as the CRM. You will work closely with the Sales, Customer Success and Finance teams to ensure deals are processed efficiently and that renewals are executed without disruption to customer experience or revenue continuity.
Job Responsibilities
Deal Desk & Commercial Governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for deal structure, pricing approvals, and contract compliance
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to create commercial guardrails and ensure deals align with revenue recognition and margin policies
- Drive sales enablement on quoting, discounting, and contract processes
- Support strategic bids and complex deal proposals with scenario modelling and margin analysis
Sales Operations & Revenue Enablement
- Manage forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and performance analytics across global sales teams
- Partner with GTM leaders to improve data accuracy, CRM adoption, and reporting using Certinia
- Build dashboards and insights that drive data-led decisions on growth, retention, and expansion
- Support annual planning, quota setting, and territory design
Billing & Renewals Operations
- Oversee order processing, invoicing, and renewal execution within Certinia (FinancialForce) and Hubspot
- Resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with sales, customer success, and finance teams
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure renewals are tracked, forecasted, and executed on time
- Identify automation opportunities across quote-to-cash workflows and renewal management
- Ensure compliance with SaaS billing models (subscription, usage-based, and hybrid)
Process Optimisation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and sales focused systems and processes
- Partner with Finance and Sales to design scalable Go-To-Market processes and improve cashflow predictability
- Train and mentor Sales and Operations teams on tools, workflows, and best practices
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a team of three Sales Administrators, providing coaching, feedback, and clear objectives
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Sales Operations function
- Support team members in developing expertise in deal desk, analytics, and system automation
Job Requirements
Required:
- 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk roles within a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience with HubSpot (or similar) and CRM-based reporting
- Demonstrated success in building or optimising sales and revenue processes across multiple teams
Preferred:
- Experience with CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, HubSpot Quotes)
- Proven track record in building relationships across the business and working cross-functionally
Skills and Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR, etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate with senior leaders
- Strong analytical skills
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to translate strategic goals into operational execution
- High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
