As Sales Operations Manager, you’ll be the engine behind our partner relationships—leading activations from contract to completion, ensuring every deliverable is met, and creating standout experiences that exceed expectations. You’ll oversee the operational workflows that keep our partnerships running smoothly, from invoicing and tracking KPIs to coordinating timelines and success metrics.
Working closely with sales, marketing, and events, you’ll translate partner goals into flawless execution—whether that’s securing the perfect event invite list, weaving their brand into our media channels, or orchestrating seamless programming at the Uncharted Summit. Your role is equal parts strategist, project manager, and relationship builder, ensuring every partner sees measurable ROI and feels like a valued part of the Uncharted community.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all operational functions pertaining to partners
- Generate and issue invoices
- Execute on all agreed upon activations/deal terms
- Track status of all activations/deal terms
- Communicate both internally and externally to maintain progress on all activations/deal terms
- Follow (and adjust as needed) SOPs for partner events
- Work with operations team to ensure all systems are being properly utilized in executing activations for partners
- Manage the sponsor/prospects/friends list in Airtable
- Manage the invitation status of partners for events and work with revenue team to identify the best partners to invite to a given Uncharted event
- Liaise with all Uncharted partners
- Lead activation meetings for each partner, talking through each deliverable, identifying success metrics, mapping out the necessary timelines, etc.
- Set clear expectations and set up each activation for success to ensure they are hit
- Host periodic check in calls to ensure all deliverables are being adequately met and ROI is on track
- Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries made by partners
- Identify opportunities to overdeliver for the partner
- Make strategic introductions to their ICP
- Listen for their “must have”s and communicate to sales team when extra attention is needed to provide red carpet service
- Implement their materials into our newsletter, social media channels, podcast, and any other media branches
- Partner with sales team to identify and hit per-partner KPIs, and collaborate with marketing and operations as needed for achieving those KPIs
- Initiate consistent feedback loop between partners and sales team, to continuously improve activations / events and provide intel to drive more revenue
- Project manage the Uncharted Summit programming, with help from marketing team
- Track all speaker outreach and inform team members of next steps owed per speaker
- Liaise with speaker teams once speakers are confirmed
- Create and send call sheets with all day-of details
- Book transportation and lodging as needed
- Send over content post-Summit
- Lead team on site to ensure smooth handling of all speakers
- Map out speaker flow throughout the day
- Designate green room + green room lead
- Work with slides/stage manager to ensure timely delivery of speakers
Key requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations, partner management, or account management, ideally in events, marketing, or a high-growth environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects from planning through execution under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging both internal teams and high-level partners
- Track record of building and maintaining strong partner relationships and delivering “white glove” service
- Proficiency with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Salesforce, Asana, Trello).
- Comfortable managing contractual deliverables, tracking KPIs, and ensuring measurable ROI.
- Flexible, proactive, and resourceful in fast-paced, high-stakes event environments
Salary range: $60,000–$80,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with role responsibilities.
