Join a Mission-Driven, Independent Hospital District in Northeast Texas
Hunt Regional Healthcare, a leading non-profit Hospital District anchored by a modern 187-bed medical center in Greenville, Texas, is seeking an experienced and strategic healthcare executive to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
This is a high-impact opportunity to serve as the lead financial strategist for a vital regional healthcare system. CFO will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO, and tasked with driving the financial health, strategic growth, and sustained success of the entire District.
The CFO will provide executive-level guidance to ensure the long-term fiscal stability of Hunt Regional Healthcare, overseeing and directing all major financial functions.
Key areas of accountability include:
- Financial Strategy: Directing the financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation process to align with strategic goals.
- Revenue Optimization: Leading negotiations with third-party payors for optimal reimbursement and managing all aspects of the revenue cycle.
- Treasury & Risk: Administering the District's debt structure, investment portfolio, and internal control activities.
- Compliance: Overseeing all accounting, audit coordination, and regulatory filings.
- Executive Collaboration: Serving as a key advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on major operational efficiencies and strategic growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking a seasoned financial leader who is passionate about community healthcare.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA) or CPA certification required.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in a hospital or health system, including a minimum of 5 years in a CFO or VP of Finance capacity.
- Expertise: Proven experience with the unique financial challenges and opportunities specific to independent, regional, or community hospitals is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven expertise across the revenue cycle, accounting, budgeting, and treasury functions.
