The Director of Sales Operations reports to the Executive VP and is responsible for evolving and optimizing a sales program capable of supporting the company’s growth objectives. The Director of Sales Ops (DSO) will lead the development of the people, process & procedure capable of scaling to optimize Diamond performance.
KRA 1: Develop defined processes and procedures to ensure Diamond sales program exceeds customer expectations.
Critical Tasks:
Develop clear roles and responsibilities for inside sales team focused on expanding capacity and capable of driving accountability throughout sales organization.
Implement best practices and procedures expedite communication within the sales organization.
Establish scalable model driven by voice of customer driving transparency throughout sales process.
Ensure program is data driven without losing focus on voice of customer throughout process.
KRA 2: Grow sales through process improvements resulting in increased close rates.
Critical Tasks:
Drive top line growth through improved lead conversion in collaboration with Marketing department.
Develop KPI’s focused on increased transparency for inside team to be recognized for performance.
Coach and engage team to drive improved close rates through quoting process.
Improve CRM tool to ensure critical data is captured while growing capacity within department.
KRA 3: Support Diamond’s focus on being a voice of customer driven organization.
Critical Tasks:
Develop reporting structure that captures voice of customer, capable of reporting back to organization quantitatively.
Collaborate with all internal departments to drive the organization forward based on customer experience.
Prioritize the development of strong dealer and customer relationships to better inform decision making.
KRA 4: Sales Operations .
Critical Tasks:
Lead inside sales department responsible for all day to day sales operations as required.
Partner with leadership to build culture, with focus on team work, accountability and success.
KRA 5: All other duties are performed as necessary.
Direct reports are led, managed and held accountable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior Experience
No less than five years’ experience leading and managing a sales team. Experience working in the equipment space, specifically construction and/or Agriculture would be preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
