Summary
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and high-performing Sales Operations Manager to lead their sales team and help continue a 100 % year-over-year growth. The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for driving the success of the sales team. Will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing a strategic sales process that will allow us to expand our customer base and ensure its strong presence. Will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and continually coaching and mentoring the team.
Objectives of this Role
- Define and execute a strategy that ensures predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales results.
- Achieve sales objectives by implementing monthly metrics to measure each team member’s success and identify opportunities to increase sales efforts while forecasting prospects.
- Support organizational growth by providing strategic client direction and maintaining existing client relationships.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve sales processes and strategies.
Responsibilities
Establish monthly and annual quotas for the sales team, analyze industry trends to implement sales and marketing strategies to grow revenue opportunities.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Own recruiting, goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales/revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Required Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of sales management experience, with a history of leading high performing sales teams.
- Established record of coaching and mentoring sales teams to consistently meet or exceed quotas.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working for a start-up or other fast-growing organization.
