Job Details:
SUMMARY: The Manager Sales Operations serves as a subject matter expert & leads processes focused on the delivery of timely and accurate communication of all details surrounding brokerage calculations, alignments, contract development and posting to Contract Management System. Ability to acquire and leverage business relationships gained throughout entirety of role is expected, as well as, understanding the macro viewpoint of role regarding the overall process flow from accrual to payment. Collaboration with the commercial sales leaders and cross functional partners is necessary to be successful in this role. Cross functional partnerships will exist in Retail Excellence, Shared Services, Finance, IT, Master Data Governance and Legal. In addition, development of partnerships with the broker community is necessary.
LOCATION: This position will be based out of our Fayetteville, Arkansas office. Relocation assistance may be available for those who qualify based on the Tyson Relocation Policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administers all brokerage processes including but not limited to setup, reconciliation, reimbursement, settlements, manual adjustments, research & issue resolution

Maintaining and updating broker records

System integration and master data alignment when acquisitions occur in order to establish the broker partner and align mapping of material to customer to broker of record

Manages Broker Contract administration; including Retail, Foodservice and Deli relative to partnering with Legal on contract review, ensuring set up and cut off (upon termination of broker)

Develop, utilize and distribute various analytical reports and summaries to aid and participate in decision making activities in Sales, Finance and the broker partners.

Communicate issues related to policies, procedures, and master data integrity to management and cross-functional partners

Identify best practices and roll out reporting and analysis to the field as appropriate by leveraging system capabilities

Maximize efficiency and utilization of systems for reporting and decision making

Build and maintain strong relationships with all parties
REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certifications: B.S. in business or equivalent
-
Experience: 5+ years of previous Sales Operations, Contract Administration, Finance and Accounting experience preferred

Computer Skills: Advanced MS Excel, Analysis for Excel, Word, and Access skills. Advanced system knowledge with Vistex, SAP and S4 preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills

Special Skills: Ability to understand and apply information management tools. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Independent self-starter with capacity to work alongside multiple team members within varied roles in business to accomplish long-term goals. Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of intermediate accounting principles.
