About the Role
The Director of Sales Operations will lead a team focused on providing analytic, strategic, and program management support to enable the success of the Wholesale Sales organization. The Director is expected to focus on synthesizing analytical insights to support sales strategy, formulate new go-to-market approaches & campaigns, and drive performance management for the sales organization. In order to complete these objectives, the Director will be supported by a team of two and will need to collaborate with senior leaders across sales, business operations and engineering.
Responsibilities

Performance management: Monitor and report on sales team performance, identify improvement opportunities

Campaign creation & execution: Develop new go-to-market campaigns along with sales leads, support campaign roll-out with reporting, analytics, sales enablement materials

Process management: Establish and coordinate regular planning and review, as a part of day-to-day operations & in support of campaigns

Customer engagement: Provide insights in support of custom discussions and negotiations
- Insight generation: Synthesize learnings from analysis of internal & external data, identify implications on sales strategy

Industry knowledge development: Analyze business and market trends to derive actionable insights for improving sales

Continuous development: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems, gather data, enable and train sales the team

Manage sales ops team: Oversee a 2-3 person sales operations team who will support the Director in the above activities
Skills and qualifications

Work experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in sales operations/enablement function in a B2B context, preferably in telecommunications/technology

Analytical skills: Proficient in conducting and reviewing the quantitative analysis, drawing critical strategic insights from quantitative work

Problem-solving: Able to translate high-level goals into actionable plans, creative in coming up with insights & solutions

Communication: Excellent written and oral communication, compelling presentation skills for senior executive audiences

Collaboration: Able to build collaborative working relationships with colleagues across functions and with C-level stakeholders

Entrepreneurship: Able to manage projects end-to-end from design to execution to impact, resourceful in gathering support required

Mindset: Highly self-motivated, demonstrates maturity, possesses good judgment, biased towards action & results
