What You Will Do
You will partner with the VP of Business Development and the Operations team to continually improve the Sales and proposal processes. This person will be focused on strategic/proactive planning, they will champion the sales and proposal processes, drive standardization/consistency with proposals (branding, voice, pricing, terms), and serve as the Systems Administrator for Salesforce.Â
This position will:Â
- Champion our sales and proposal processes
- Responsible for process definition, refinement, adoption, etc.Â
- Train all Flexware employees on the sales and proposal processÂ
- Assess and support implementation of new Sales systems/tools/processesÂ
- Support sales metrics and reportingÂ
- Develop reports in Salesforce and partner with internal Business Intelligence team to create PowerBI dashboardsÂ
- Support the sales and operation teams with creating reports, fields requests for new metrics/reportingÂ
- Support annual account planning Â
- Partner with central operations team for business/sales forecasting Â
- Prepare and summarize sales data for the executive leadership team, company meetings, and monthly/quarterly corporate reportingÂ
- Facilitate / lead the weekly sales meeting with team managers, sales team, and operationsÂ
- Serve as the Salesforce and Microsoft Teams systems administrator. This includes:Â
- Creating and testing new fields, validation rules, email notifications, and CRM integration Â
- Creating / managing page layouts, including the mobile applicationÂ
- Providing CRM trainingÂ
- Supporting system hygiene effortsÂ
- Organizing salesforce reportsÂ
- Create and maintain proposal templates and estimate spreadsheetÂ
- Drives standardization/consistency with proposals by partnering with Sales Support, Sales team, and engineers working on quotes, specifically related to branding, pricing, payment milestones, and terms and conditions.Â
- Attend company marketing events (1 per month/2 per quarter), often occurring in the evenings, and supports sales and marketing with overall strategy and planning as neededÂ
- Perform other duties as necessary as Flexware continues to grow.Â
What You Might Have Done Beforeâ
Flexware is looking for an individual who has supported Business Development teams in the past by creating and standardizing proposal documents, sales systems and reporting, and sales processes. If this is you, you will have the following traits and may have done some of the following:Â

- Experience or past focus on sales operations, sales/proposal processes, continuous improvement, and/or CRM system administration (system ownership)Â
- Facilitated Sales meetings, provided sales metrics and reportingÂ
- Has an interest/desire to support a growing sales organizationÂ
- Experience working with Salesforce and Microsoft Teams highly preferredÂ
- Experience working for a systems integrator, engineering or IT services/consulting company is highly preferredÂ
- Familiarity with engineering/IT or manufacturing/production Â
- Must be local to either Fishers or Valparaiso, INÂ
