The Role
The sales support provided to the Global sales teams is vitally important to the smooth running of the AspenTech business. The Sales Operations Analyst is a sales operations function that provides best-in-class deal management support to global field sales and inside sales, with primary responsibility to support the local regional sales team. The Sales Operations Analyst can be viewed as an extension of the sales teams helping them to achieve their sales objectives each quarter.
This position is based out of Reading, the EUA regional office. The Sales Operations Analyst is part of a Global Deal Management team, responsible for providing support during the quote to contract process. Developing strong relationships with peers and business partners is critical. An ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment is a priority.
Your Impact

Administration of the Authorization and Approvals policy (A&A policy)

involving analysis of pricing and deal structure elements, coordinating the

approval process by obtaining approvals per policy, and ensuring compliance to both process and policy.

Process various software license quotes using our Oracle ERP system (software license agreements, contract amendments, supersede agreements, assignment agreements).

One-to-one training of sales account managers on the sales support process to ensure sales teams are aware of the information required when

submitting their commercial pricing or contract requests.

Manage global workload with Deal Management team members to
-
optimize speed of delivery and responsiveness to the sales team using a global follow-the-sun approach.

Serve as subject-matter expert for the quote to contract process. This
-
includes the delivery of training to sales teams on process, assisting in any roll out of new tools to support the quote to contract process, strong working knowledge of the A&A policy and implementation, working knowledge of deal structure and deal quality.

Identify process improvement opportunities and provide solutions. Implement solutions and contribute to cross-functional process improvement projects.

Participate in a consultative manner for special projects that require

subject-matter expert, as assigned by Deal Management

Provide back-up support to Regional Manager as required for regional

prioritization activities, resolve quote to contract issues.

Training of new and existing Deal Management team members on process and policy. For new, work as the main coordinator to get new starters up and running as soon as possible in a live production environment. For

existing, work as the main go to person to assist on all areas of refresher training.

Act as the primary lead from a Deal Management perspective on any UAT.
