Delta Sands LLC is an innovative in-basin frac sand project under development in the Western Haynesville. Founded by the team behind Performance Proppants, the organization builds on extensive regional expertise to deliver a reliable, efficient, and high-capacity facility for sand production. Strategically located near Buffalo, Texas, the facility will produce 40/200 mesh sand with 8K crush strength, supporting regional energy development with minimal logistics costs. The project is designed to prioritize safety, quality control, and long-term community impact. Targeted to commission in April 2026, Delta Sands is committed to contributing to the region’s evolving energy landscape.
Chief Financial Officer Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the company’s future growth and direction, while supporting financial initiatives
- Develop financial strategies by contributing and reporting financial data, analysis and recommended growth and direction.
- Establish functional goals that align with company objectives.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing data and results. Initiate correct accounting and financial principles to minimize risk and variances.
- Forecast capitals, staff requirements and facilities.
- Create action plans based on monetary resources.
- Oversee the capital funds and budgeting processes.
- Maximize the return on shareholder funds by investigating opportunities and retaining relationships with various investors in the industry.
- Assists in developing company-wide strategic goals by analyzing current trends, evaluating critical measurements and strategies, resolving problems and implementing change procedures.
- Works together with human resources and management to attract, hire and retain a strong team of accounting and financial experts.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning, Finance, and Analytical Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Experience in overseeing budgeting and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- An advanced degree, CMA or CPA designation is required
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams
- Experience in the energy, construction, or manufacturing sectors is a plus
