This executive leadership role will oversee all financial operations of the carrier, with a particular focus on:
- Reinsurance accounting and recoverables
- Statutory accounting and regulatory reporting
- Investment strategy and portfolio oversight
- Capital adequacy and BCAR modeling
- Collateral management for reinsurance recoverables
- AM Best and state insurance department regulatory engagement
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient CFO with:
- 20–25 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 10+ years in the insurance carrier space
- Deep expertise in specialty insurance frameworks, including E&S lines
- Proven track record managing reinsurance structures, stat filings, and regulatory relationships
- Strong familiarity with BCAR, AM Best rating processes, and state DOI compliance
- Experience navigating collateral requirements and optimizing reinsurance recoverable strategies
