The Role
The Deal Desk Renewal Analyst will have the objective to maximize Dataiku Renewal transactions’ Upsell potential by proactively working with the Sales Teams, identifying and anticipating complex transactional challenges, as well as processing simpler transaction her/himself
What You'll Do:
- Keep track of all Renewal transactions within her/his geographic scope, by projected complexity vs completion timeline
- Well ahead of the Renewal date, detail the condition of an upcoming Renewal based on prior deal clauses, current Customer usage, contractual limitations etc.
- Establish visibility on non-standard Renewal conditions and create a plan to mitigate them before the contracting phase
- In the event of a projected flat Renewal, draft several uplift scenario quotes to share with the Sales Representative
- Execute the End of Contract process when a Customer is projected to Churn.
- Ensure and enable rapid movement through the contracting process.
- Partner with Sales to ensure opportunities and Quotes are properly created and tracked in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. VP Sales, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Finance, Product, etc.) to ensure deals comply with accounting requirements and internal processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on deal-related matters for Renewals.
- Help drive projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Proactively liaise with relevant sales teams to early engage on complex and / or high value deals.
- Initiate, lead, and participate in projects as needed (outside the scope of specific deals).
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Strong Spreadsheet and systems (such as Salesforce) skills.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal).
- Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast moving business, international environment, and compliance with standards and internal processes.
- Previous experience with Renewal Management from Operations’ perspective
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize well.
- Ability to keep up with frequent changes to products, policies, procedures, and people.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in a fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated with an eye towards continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to work with remote teams.
