About the Role
Hummingbird is looking to grow its Sales Operations team to support top-of-funnel sales processes as we scale globally. While this role will involve extensive cross-functional collaboration, especially between Sales and Marketing, you’ll be ultimately aligned to the Sales team.
What you’re looking to do:
- Help drive our Sales team’s success, especially by maximizing our use of Salesforce. You will:
- Implement best practices, evaluating both points of friction in our current processes and emerging business needs
- Help increase lead conversion velocity
- Leverage data analysis and build reports relating to sales effectiveness and marketing campaigns
- Identify gaps in Salesforce - help improve data hygiene for reliable reporting and analytics
- Own the relationship between sales and marketing. Your ultimate goal is to increase lead efficiency, conversion and bookings
- Partner with leadership cross-functionally to drive improvements. Based on your consistent evaluation & expertise with Sales and Marketing data, you’ll help implement changes across both orgs
- Advise marketing on new content for demand generation and product marketing based on data-backed recommendations
What we’re looking for:
- Expertise in and passion for Salesforce CRM optimization. Someone data-driven and detail-oriented, and driven by the understanding that this work is essential to the growth of the company
- A love for cross-functional collaboration. This person has the desire to be in a highly visible and impactful role in a rapidly growing start-up.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations role specifically focused on sales, marketing or a similarly process oriented function
- Experience with or exposure to top-of-funnel sales processes and/or marketing campaign generation
- Interest in and exposure to the SaaS world
