Job Title: Chief Revenue Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Chief Revenue Officer to join our early-stage startup. As the leader of our revenue operations, you will have a key role in driving the growth of the company in the United States both in the Defense sector and Enterprises. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing strategies to drive revenue, overseeing daily operations, and driving sales in the government and enterprise sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business leader to take a new startup to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients and partners, specifically government agencies
- Create standardized outreach for clients and coordinate implementation across different departments and sales channels
- Oversee all channel/partner development, including adding new sales channels and third-party resellers and partners.
- Oversee entire sales process, including prospecting, proposal writing, submission, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with leadership team to design and execute expansion plans while staying informed on industry advancements such as AI and machine learning and adjusting company practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing teams on messaging, budgeting, financial planning, and other operational resources
- Implement pricing strategies and business models to achieve revenue goals.
- Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting
- Develop and coordinate appropriate metrics to create accountability within the company and align compensation and promotions with these metrics.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in business development and operations management, including a leadership role
- A history of successfully growing a business or expanding operations
- Proven sales experience in the government sector
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a startup or early-stage company is an added advantage
- Possession of security clearance highly preferred.
Compensation Package: . Includes a base salary of at least $150,000 plus equity , plus performance-based bonuses, benefits, and possibly relocation package
