Excellent opportunity for a Revenue Operations Specialist (ROS) is open right now.
The ROS is responsible, on the front end, for the accurate and timely billing for services provided to individuals supported and for all activities related to the billing process and data analysis of the data created when initially billing. On the back end, revenue source reconciliation and data analysis of pending and unpaid matters including research and resolution.
NOTE: Because Excel proficiency is a key part of this position's job requirements, all candidates must complete the Excel assessment available through Indeed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Highly dependable person who is organized, possesses a detail-oriented work ethic and has a self-directed character.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Excel skills are heavily encompassed in this position.
- While Excel mastery is not needed, Power Pivot, Power Query (so that you can effectively import and transform data from other sources into workable Excel spreadsheets), VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, advanced conditional formatting, pivot tables and reporting and basic macro use are all elements that will be helpful in this position.
- Further, if you possess mastery in Excel, including VBA, Power BI, and have demonstrated excellent proficiency in data manipulation/data analysis skills & and ability to summarize tables from very large datasets, etc. will upgrade the pay scale for this position substantially.
- Good solid working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, general web researching and sincere curiosity for problem resolution a must.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Bill in the State billing system for the required government reimbursable services with current definitions, descriptions and responsibilities of each service.
- Ability to reliably show up for work as we bill from the daily census report and various company generated source documents.
- Daily audit of billing for accuracy pre and post submissions.
- In depth research, follow up and resolve any issues with receiving payment(s).
- Data analysis of pre-billed, billed and post billing data.
- Reconciliation of State Comptroller payments to billed data.
- Develop refinements and improved efficiencies to existing Excel spreadsheets.
- Review process of analog data collection throughout the company and examine and propose opportunity to digital alternatives.
