The Sales Operations & Strategy Associate - Intern will be responsible for supporting the Sales Operations & Strategy team on the development of new and ongoing strategic initiatives for the Single-Family mortgage (SFR) and Wealth. Initiatives can be varied and can include any of the following: new opportunity identification and evaluation, internal consulting, strategic planning, research, reporting & data analysis. These projects usually include cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the company and support senior executive and Board-level decision making.
- If you are a keen problem-solver who has a passion for data analytics, project management, strategy and enjoys working with an awesome team to develop tangible business solutions, this role could be for you. A normal day in the life will involve the activities below.

Business analysis and problem solving:

Use quantitative methods (i.e., Excel models, Access / SQL databases) to pull reports, develop insights and support strategic decision making

Perform financial analysis and modeling for potential opportunities

Support the development of business cases for new opportunities

Support the development of investment memo’s, storyboards, and formal presentation materials for new opportunities

Present key insights and recommendations based on research and data analysis

Fact gathering and research:

Conduct market research to support business unit and enterprise strategy (e.g., competitive position, product assessments, market sizing, etc.)
- Scan various sources to identify, track, and monitor market and competitive trends

Perform interviews with internal and external parties to gather information and develop insights

Administrative and Operational Support:

Manage various initiatives and provide recommendations for process improvements / efficiencies within

Review the sales manuals and ensure all processes are updated and documented within

Support on event management and expense management with operational and administrative tasks as required

Currently enrolled in University program (Finance, Business, Marketing is preferred)

Quick learner with the ability to multi-task; ability to handle multiple competing priorities

Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong business acumen with a passion for understanding and solving problems for our customers using quantitative / analytical approaches

Ability to prioritize assignments, projects, and multi-task within restricted time constraints

Strong attention to detail with the ability to review one’s own work
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
