Introduction
IBM is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic professional to join our Software Operations team as a Global Capital & Cloud Cost Management Professional. Managing capital planning, cloud cost reporting, and procurement operations across global teams, ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Your Role And Responsibilities
Capital & Cloud Management
- Own and manage global capital requests via the WWCT tool, ensuring accurate processing and accountability.
- Maintain service provider inventory, project codes, and PAT IDs using Monday.com.
- Validate IBM Cloud ownership and conduct regular inventory reviews across business groups.
Reporting & Planning
- Lead Non-PY planning activities, including APUs, EPATs, and consolidated reporting through Apptio.
- Prepare cloud cost review files for Platform and Core Products.
- Support regional teams, including India SaaS, with financial planning and reporting.
Procurement Operations
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for both high- and low-value purchases.
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize procurement efficiency and compliance.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience in capital planning, cloud cost management, or financial operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Apptio, WWCT, and Monday.com.
- Proven ability to manage procurement workflows and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Experience in software or cloud-based environments.
- Familiarity with IBM systems and global operations.
